LoanLucid, LLC ("LoanLucid," "we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our website and services at loanlucid.com.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information:

• Account information: Your name and email address when you create an account. Sign-in is handled by our authentication provider, Clerk; we never see or store your password
• Plan and usage information: Which plan you have, how many times you have used our tools, and when
• Payment information: Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your credit card number, expiration date, or CVV on our servers. We keep a Stripe customer reference so we can match payments to your account
• Information you enter into our tools: Figures such as income, debts, down payment, credit score range and property ZIP code that you type into the Pre-Qualification Calculator, and text or documents you paste or upload for analysis. The details needed to produce a result are sent to our AI provider (Anthropic) for processing. LoanLucid does not keep this information after your result is produced, unless you choose to save a scenario (see below) or to share a result with a real estate agent as described in Section 3
• Saved scenarios: If you are on a paid plan and click Save on a pre-qualification result, we store what you entered (such as income, debts, down payment, credit score range and property details), the result, and any payment schedule settings you choose to keep with it, under your account, so you can reopen and compare them later. Nothing is saved unless you click Save. Saved scenarios are not shared with anyone, and they stay until you delete them or your account is deleted
• Referral information: If you arrive through a real estate agent's personal link, we record which agent referred you
• Real estate agent information: If you create a referral link, the name, brokerage and phone number you provide. If you subscribe to LoanLucid for Agents, also your profile (introduction, specialties, the ZIP codes you serve and, if you add one, a profile photo, which LoanLucid reviews before it is shown), which may be shown to buyers, and your real estate license number and state, which we use only to confirm you are licensed and never display. Agents can also keep private notes, follow-up dates, closing dates, a client's cell phone number and contacts in LoanLucid's agent tools; these are visible only to the agent and their team. Follow-up messages an agent sends to a connected buyer go to the buyer's Messages in LoanLucid and, if the buyer's email settings allow, to the buyer's email, with replies going to the agent; an agent may also send messages from their own email or phone. An agent may also have LoanLucid email an invitation or a follow-up message to someone the agent added to their contacts; we use that person's name and email address only to send what the agent wrote, replies go to the agent, sending is limited, and we stop for good if they click unsubscribe
• Device information: Browser type and IP address, used for security and to prevent abuse of the service

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Provide and improve our mortgage education tools
• Process payments and manage your subscription
• Send important account and service updates
• Send email you choose in Account → Email settings (activity alerts and messages, updates from your agent, closing reminders and, on paid plans, a Weekly Rate Watch on your saved homes). Every email has a one-click unsubscribe link. We send email through our provider, Resend
• Respond to your questions and support requests
• Monitor for fraud and ensure platform security
• Comply with legal obligations

3. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share your information only as follows:

• A real estate agent you are connected to: If you sign up through a real estate agent's personal link, or later connect to an agent by entering their link or code in your dashboard, that agent can see that you signed up, including your name and email address. Agents who subscribe to LoanLucid for Agents may add up to three members of their team (for example a transaction coordinator), who can see the same information the agent sees. You can disconnect or switch agents at any time; when you do, that agent and their team no longer see you or anything you shared. After you run a pre-qualification, you may choose to share more with that agent: that you completed it, your estimated purchase price and loan type, or your full result (which includes your down payment, loan amount, monthly payment, interest rate, income, debts, debt-to-income ratios, credit score range and the county you are looking in). You may also choose to share saved homes with that agent: for each home you select, its name, price and loan type, or those plus its down payment, loan amount, interest rate, monthly payment breakdown and location. Agents who subscribe to LoanLucid for Agents can send you homes (an address, price, listing link and note); your answers (interested or not, and any reason you give) are visible to that agent. If you run your numbers on a home your agent sent and save it, that home's price and payment details are shared with your agent (never your income, debts or credit score). Messages you exchange with your connected agent in LoanLucid are stored so you both can read them, and are visible to that agent and their team; if you disconnect, that agent can no longer see them. You may also choose to share a seller net proceeds estimate with your agent (the sale price, the costs you entered and the estimated proceeds); only the latest one you share is kept. If you ask your agent for a tour of a saved home, that home's name and price are shared with them so they know which home you mean, and tour times you and your agent set are visible to both of you. The agent sees the current version of each home you share; your income, debts and credit score range are never included with saved homes. Nothing beyond your name and email is shared unless you choose to share it, and you can stop sharing your result or your saved homes at any time
• Buyers you refer: If you are a real estate agent with a referral link, your name and brokerage are shown to people who open your link or sign up through it
• Clerk: Our authentication provider, which manages sign-in and stores your name, email address and login credentials
• Vercel Web Analytics: We count page visits to understand how the site is used (for example, how many people open the pre-qualification page). This uses no cookies and does not identify you; it records the page visited, the referring site and general device, browser and country information
• Anthropic: Your document, question and calculator content is sent to Anthropic's API to generate AI responses. Anthropic's privacy policy governs their use of this data
• Stripe: Payment processing. Stripe's privacy policy governs their handling of payment information
• Vercel and Upstash: Our hosting and database providers, which process and store data on our behalf
• Legal authorities: When required by law or to protect our rights

We do not share your information with lenders.

4. Data Storage and Security

Your account, plan and usage information is stored with our service providers named above. Documents, text and figures you submit for analysis are transmitted securely over HTTPS and are not kept on our servers after processing, except for scenarios you choose to save, which are kept until you delete them or your account, and a pre-qualification result you choose to share with a real estate agent, which is kept until you stop sharing it or delete your account. We use industry-standard security measures to protect your data, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

5. Cookies

We use only the cookies and browser storage needed to operate the service: keeping you signed in, and remembering a real estate agent's referral link until you create your account. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though you will not be able to sign in without them.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate information
• Delete your account and associated data at any time, yourself, from Account > Delete my account in your dashboard (or ask us to do it). Deleting your account cancels any subscription, removes your LoanLucid data and your sign-in, and disconnects you from any agent or buyers you are connected to. Payment records kept by our payment processor, Stripe, are retained as the law requires
• Stop sharing your pre-qualification result with a real estate agent at any time, from your dashboard
• Delete any saved scenario at any time, from the My scenarios page in your dashboard
• Opt out of marketing communications at any time

7. Children's Privacy

LoanLucid is not intended for children under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately.

8. Third-Party Links

Our service may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites and encourage you to review their privacy policies.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting a notice on our website or sending an email to your registered address. Your continued use of LoanLucid after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
